I shot everything on my phone, straightened the corners, put the front and back of the card on a single page, then used LensUp document scanner to pull it into a printable file. The compression aims at whatever size you set, so it can land a bit over — I nudged it once and it went through. Files stayed on my laptop; the processing runs in the browser tab, which mattered since it was my ID.
